Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Commissioned Project-1

Japan is facing an IT talent shortage of up to 790,000 by 2030, making securing human resources a pressing issue, and there is an urgent need to acquire and utilize talented talent from other countries. Meanwhile, in India, 1.5 million engineering students are said to graduate each year, and global competition to acquire Indian talent is intensifying. However, compared to other countries, there is room for Japanese companies to further expand their recruitment of Indian talent. To this end, it is important for both Indian talent and Japanese companies to further deepen their understanding of each other's needs and customs.
